The invention provides a power saving method of a mobile apparatus and a communication system thereof. The method and the system are suitable for the mobile apparatus under an embarkation vehicle environment. The mobile apparatus establishes connection with a communication apparatus through a first communication protocol. A base station establishes connection with the communication apparatus through a second communication protocol. Transmission power needed by using the first communication protocol is lower than the transmission power needed by using the second communication protocol. If the connection between the mobile apparatus and the base station through using the second communication protocol exists, the connection is cut off. An operation interface of the mobile apparatus is provided for a user to operate so that the mobile apparatus can communicate with the base station through the communication apparatus.
