The motion platform gesture sensing method comprises the steps: under the condition that an electromagnetic wave information chain exists between a base station and a motion platform, by processing received signals by a polarization sensitive array, the motion platform processes acquires the wave arrival direction and the polarization parameters of electromagnetic waves from the base station so as to determine the structural vector of the electromagnetic waves, and a gesture reference calibrated by the base station is transferred to the motion platform through the polarized electromagnetic waves to obtain the motion platform gesture under a geographic coordinate system. The method disclosed by the invention is different from a trigonometric calculation method requiring multimetering, can realize gesture sensing by means of only a base station signal and a single receiving point on the motion platform, and can replace a gesture navigator and a heading navigator.
