Abstract

The invention discloses a safe certificate issuing method based on a USB (Universal Serial Bus) key. According to the method, an LRA (Local RA) with the USB key is used for issuing an electronic certificate, wherein a digital certificate issued to the LRA by a CA (Certificate Authority) and digital certificates of the CA and VRA (Virtual RA) are stored in the USB key. According to the method, the issued and legal USB key is used for ensuring the safety of a certificate-issuing process, thereby ensuring the capability of safely passing through Internet, meanwhile avoiding establishing a special route between the RA and the LRA and greatly lowering the cost.
