However, these methods can only detect large-area or large-volume mechanical damage
For mechanical injuries that are difficult to detect with the human eye, even in appearance, there is currently no good detection method

[0031] Detection of coating film on tiny puncture wounds on leaves of radish seedlings

[0032] 1. Film-forming agent selection:

[0033] Agar, pectin and gelatin were selected for film-forming effect experiments. The film-forming effect of pectin on the leaves of radish seedlings is not good, and the purpose of observation cannot be achieved; the film-forming effect of agar on the leaves of radish seedlings is better, but because the surface of radish seedlings is not very smooth, the formed film is easy to break , and it is difficult to remove from the surface of the radish seedlings after the film is formed, which is not conducive to observation; the film-forming effect of gelatin is the most ideal, and it can be applied on the surface of the leaves of radish seedlings, and finally a thin, nearly transparent film can be formed on the surface of the leaves. It can be completely removed afterwards. Finally, the gelatin with the best film-forming effect was selected for subs...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for detecting mechanical injuries for fresh products, aiming at providing a method for detecting micro-mechanical injuries on an agricultural product surface. The method comprises the following steps of: adding gelatin to water so as to prepare gelatin coatings, and dropping bromcresol purple indicator or bromothymol blue indicator to the gelatin coatings; covering the gelatin coatings on the agricultural product surface to form a coating film for 24 hours, and then taking off the coating film; and using a microscope to observe color-changing condition of the coating film to find out the injuries where distinctive color change appears. The method, which uses transparent coatings containing acid-base indicator to perform film coating on leaf vegetables so as to detect the micro-injuries through post-film microscopic observation and photograph, belongs to pioneering researches, thus having important practical significance. By using the method for detecting the mechanical injuries for the fresh products, the degree of the fresh products and the approximate injury time can be fast detected, so that the products can be evaluated, and storage and sales of the fresh products are guided; meanwhile, the recovery of the fresh products can be guided, thereby reducing the mechanical injuries so as to reach the final purpose of reducing proportion of goods damaged.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to a method for detecting mechanical damage of fruits and vegetables in the field of food storage and preservation, in particular to a method for detecting micro mechanical damage on the surface of agricultural products. Background technique [0002] Mechanical damage is the main factor of postharvest economic loss of fruits and vegetables. During the whole process of fruits and vegetables from harvesting, packaging, storage, transportation to consumers, they will inevitably suffer from different degrees of mechanical damage, such as extrusion, vibration, collision, impact, etc., which will seriously damage the fruit and vegetable tissue and cause rot. Lead to loss of commodity value, or lead to decline in quality and shortened storage period. Fruits and vegetables are mechanically injured, and pathogenic microorganisms can easily invade through the wound after harvest, causing a large amount of decay. For fruits and vegetables ...
