The method comprises the following steps: receiving user identification information and a management command for carrying out a business configuration management operation; generating an extensible markup language configuration access protocol message according to the management command, and keepingthe extensible markup language configuration access protocol message related to the user identification information; and sending the extensible markup language configuration access protocol information so that an application server carries out corresponding management operation on the business configuration information corresponding to the user identification markup information. In the technical proposal, an XCAP message is generated through the received management command for business configuration management operation so that the application server can carry out the management command for business configuration via the XCAP message to achieve management operation on business configuration by ICS.
