Abstract

The invention discloses environmental-friendly biological stuffing which is made of raw material of carbonized rice husks, thereby having low cost and wide source of raw material and being easy to process. The environmental-friendly biological stuffing has large specific surface area, high porosity, large biomass of per unit volume and high pollutant processing load; in addition, the environmental-friendly biological stuffing is similar to water in the specific gravity, thereby being easy to suspend by consuming less power; the environmental-friendly biological stuffing is suitable for the growth and the propagation of microorganisms and is easy to form film; and the environmental-friendly biological stuffing has small stacking density, thereby being hard to compact. Compared with the prior stuffing, the cost of the environmental-friendly biological stuffing is reduced by 60-80 percent, and the specific surface area is increased by over 2000m<2>/m<3>. The environmental-friendly biological stuffing can be widely used for treating waste water and gases.
