Abstract

The invention discloses a sample preparation apparatus of a sandy clay triaxial test, comprising a pressure chamber base, a test top cap and a pressure chamber cylinder, wherein the upper end and thelower end of the pressure chamber cylinder are matched with the pressure chamber base and the test top cap; the pressure chamber consists of three circular arc sheets, and moreover, a tightening ringis sheathed on the cylinder so as to cramp the cylinder; the inner wall of each circular arc sheet is provided with a vertical air discharge duct and a transverse air discharge duct; and the middle-lower wall of the cylinder has a suction hole communicated with the vertical air discharge duct and the transverse air discharge duct. The invention has the advantages that air between rubber membranesand the circular arc sheets can be completely discharged, thereby enabling the rubber membranes to cling to the circular arc sheets, and therefore, the surface creasing of a sample is prevented, so that the sample with a smooth and even surface can be prepared; and the sample has the advantages of simple principle and convenient operation. The invention can conveniently prepare samples with different diameters and heights through changing the diameter and the height of a sample tube, thereby satisfying the demands of various tests.
