Embodiment Construction

[0037] Specific embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0038]For simplicity of illustration and description, the attached figure 1 to attach Figure 8 In the above, a wireless local area network (WLAN) system is taken as an example to illustrate the specific implementation manner of the present invention, but this does not mean that the present invention only supports the WLAN system. In fact, the following description will illustrate that the present invention also supports other IP-based wireless broadband systems, including WiMAX systems, 3G network data access systems, and wireless broadband network evolution systems, such as 802.11n, post-3G (B3G), long-term Evolved system (LTE), 4G, etc.

[0039] Such as figure 1 As shown, the device (wireless broadband bridge WBB) of the present invention is a signal conversion system for bridging outdoor and indoor wireless broadband access networks. e...

Abstract

The invention provides a method and a device for providing wireless broadband access service for indoor users. The device completes wireless bridging and routing between an indoor wireless broadband user terminal and an outdoor wireless broadband access network through two independent wireless interface units. One wireless interface unit in the device is used as a wireless client to complete the wireless connection with the outdoor wireless broadband access network, and the other wireless interface unit is used as a miniature coverage base station to provide wireless broadband access service for the indoor users. The wireless interface units support a wireless interface protocol standard based on a transmission control protocol (TCP) and an internetwork protocol (IP). The method and the device can conveniently provide the wireless broadband access service for the indoor users, improve service quality, improve spectrum utilization rate, and reduce construction cost for deploying the wireless broadband network on a large scale and developing users.
