Abstract

The invention provides a method for adjusting the picture size in a multimedia message. The method comprises the following steps: adding an object containing a picture to form a multimedia message; calculating the upper limit value of the picture size according to the maximum capacity L of the sent multimedia message and the actual size of the object; and adjusting the picture size according to the upper limit value of the picture size. The method is provided aiming at the situation that the upper capacity limit of the multimedia messages is exceeded when a plurality of multimedia message objects are added into one multimedia message by a user. The method for adjusting the picture size in the multimedia message can help a user automatically reduce the size of the picture added into the multimedia message, thereby ensuring that more picture objects can be loaded by one multimedia message and solving the troubles of editing a plurality of multimedia messages or manually editing pictures for users.
