Abstract

The invention provides a key module, which at least comprises a key; and the key comprises a keycap, a base, a support element, a resistance element and an elastic piece, wherein the base comprises a compression part and a bearing part connected with the compression part; the keycap is arranged on the compression part; the support element is arranged on the side of the bearing part of the base facing the keycap so as to support the keycap when the keycap is compressed; and the resistance element is arranged between the compression part and the elastic piece to make the elastic piece electrically connected to a circuit board. In the key module, by utilizing the height difference of the compression part and the bearing part of the base, the support element is arranged on the bearing part, and the components are arranged by fully utilizing gaps originally required between keys, so the integral thickness of the key module and an electronic device applying the key module is effectively reduced.
