Abstract

The invention relates to a cefixime compound and the preparation method thereof. In the preparation method of the cefixime compound, a cefixime crude product prepared by the prior art is processed to gain comparatively purer cefixime compound by the following procedures: aqueous alkali is added to raw materials of the cefixime crude product, or the cefixime crude product is dissolved in organic solvent and reacts with the added aqueous alkali, the pH value is adjusted, and the reaction continues until clarification to obtain cefixime saline solution; and the cefixime elaboration product can be obtained after the sequential operations of adding active carbon for adsorption and filtration, adding acid solution into filter liquor, adjusting the pH value, separating out crystals, filtrating, rinsing and drying.
