Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a backlight illuminating system, a video display system and a correlation method, wherein the backlight illuminating system comprises: a light source, which provides illumination for the display system and comprises at least two luminous devices; and a multi-reflector system positioned behind the light source, which is used for reflecting part of light emitted by the light source for a plurality of times so as to increase the transmission paths of the part of the light. By using the technical proposal provided by the invention, the transmission paths of part of the light from the light source can be increased before the light reaches a scattering plate, thus the thickness of an LCD can be reduced.
