Embodiment Construction

[0054] The toilet shown in Figure 1 is typically of the type capable of receiving a cover and protective casing according to the present invention. It can be made of any suitable material known to those skilled in the art, such as "resin concrete".

[0055] The toilet 1 generally comprises a bowl 10, the upper part of which forms an inwardly turned peripheral rim.

[0056] Connected to the bottom of the bowl is a waste water discharge pipe 100, which forms a siphon.

[0057] Stretching into this pipe is a nozzle 101 whose upper end extends to the rear portion of the toilet 1 at a slightly higher position than the upper edge of the toilet. For example, this nozzle is intended to receive a movable rod, the end of which is equipped with a material capable of collecting scale. The tip of this rod can advantageously form the closing plug of the nozzle.

[0058] Finally, at least one flexible pipe 21 supplies water to the bowl 10 of the toilet 1 .

Abstract

The invention relates in particular to a housing for protecting and masking a toilet bowl whose top part is provided with a peripheral inwardly folded edge which delimits with the bowl a water distribution channel and which is characterised in that it consists of a body (30) and a cover part (32) which is open in the center thereof, is independent of said body (30) and is arrangeable on the body in such a way that it covers the peripheral edge (11) of the bowl, wherein the body (30) is provided with an anchoring part (5) interacting with the cover part (32) and said anchoring and cover (32) parts comprise complementarily shaped connecting means (51, 330).

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a housing for protecting and covering a toilet bowl. [0002] The invention also relates to a toilet bowl so equipped. Background technique [0003] Toilet bowls are traditionally made of ceramic materials. [0004] Ceramic is a dimensionally unstable material during its manufacture. Therefore, the size of the manufactured product is difficult to control, and the size of different products is not constant. Therefore, it is disadvantageous to manufacture a toilet bowl by assembling a plurality of components, and it is also disadvantageous to manufacture toilet bowls of different shapes. [0005] The realization of new, lighter materials that are as strong as ceramics may change that. It relates in particular to the material known as "resin concrete". [0006] Consideration has already been given to "decorating" existing toilet bowls in order to disguise particularly unsightly technical installations (water inlets, e...
