Embodiment Construction

[0016] FIG. 1 shows a schematic diagram of a global positioning system architecture. The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a collection of 24 navigation satellites. Each navigation satellite orbits within a precise orbit approximately 11,000 miles above the Earth's surface. A GPS navigation device (such as GPS navigation device 101) locks up to at least 3 navigation satellites and is able to determine the correct position of the satellites in response to signals from the satellites. However, if three navigation satellites are used for positioning, positioning can only be performed on a two-dimensional plane. And if three-dimensional space positioning is to be carried out, the signals of four navigation satellites must be locked. Therefore, current GPS navigation devices are all locked to four navigation satellites, such as navigation satellites 103 , 105 , 107 and 109 .

[0017] Each navigation satellite transmits a signal modulated with a pseudo-noise (PN) code. Each PN ...

Abstract

The invention discloses a displaying method for time on a GPS navigation device, the steps which includes: the GPS navigation device receives a signal from a navigation satellite; detecting positioning action of the GPS navigation device; detecting initialization action of the GPS navigation device; when the GPS navigation device completes the positioning action and the initialization action, then displaying the system time on a screen of the GPS navigation device. The displaying method of the invention for time on the GPS navigation device can not display predetermined time before counting the correct system time.

Description

【Technical field】 [0001] The present invention relates to a time display method, and in particular to a time display method on a global positioning system navigation device. 【Background technique】 [0002] The application of Global Position System (GPS) to navigation and positioning is a brand-new concept. Using this space-age technology, anyone can easily obtain the correct position, speed and time. [0003] The Global Positioning System Development Program is hosted by the US Department of Defense, with the participation of the Department of Transportation, and transfers this technology to civilian use, and applies it to related operations such as navigation and positioning, precision measurement, and standard time. Global Positioning System is a navigation system combining satellite and wireless technology, which can provide users with precise positioning, speed and time. The application of GPS has widely existed in the current market. With the advancement of satellite t...
