In the standard MAP (Mobile Application Part) protocol, the format of the MAP-RESTORE-DATA-REQ (MAP Restoration Data Request) message is shown in Table 1 below, and it is queried according to the IMSI of the queried user.

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for obtaining calling subscription information during roaming among networks, in which GMSC (Gateway Mobile Services Switching Center) of the home network establishes an expanded 'MAP-RESTORE-DATA-REQ' message by replacing IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identification) number in a standard 'MAP-RESTORE-DATA-REQ' message with MSISDN (Mobile Station Integrated Services Digital Network) number of the calling user, and queries the calling subscription from HLR (home location register) of the home network.
