Embodiment Construction

[0082] Hereinafter, a method of manufacturing the disposable underpants-type wearing article according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0083] figure 1 A disposable pants-type diaper 1 shown in a perspective view is manufactured according to the manufacturing method of the present invention and has a body covering portion 2 and a body fluid absorbing portion 3 . The body covering portion 2 includes a crotch region 8, a front waist region 6 formed near the front of the crotch region 8, a rear waist region 7 formed near the rear of the crotch region 8, and these regions 6, 7, 8 are formed with the clothes of the diaper wearer. The outer surface sheet 5 facing (not shown in the figure), and the inner surface sheet 4 located inside the outer surface sheet 5 and facing the skin (not shown in the figure) of the diaper wearer are formed. In the vicinity of each side edge 12 of the back waist region 7, by bonding or ...

Abstract

A method of continuously manufacturing disposable pants type wearing articles of such a type that both sides of front and rear waist regions are connected to each other with fastener means so that their shapes can be uniformized. A web (103) having a first side-edge (101a) and a second side- edge (101b) extending parallel with each other is run in a machine direction (MD). In the web (103), first fastener means (116) are formed on both sides of portions where cutting lines (111) extending in a crossing direction (CD) to the machine direction (MD) are to be formed. After the second fastener means (124) of the fastener sheets (123) are fixed to the first fastener means (116), the areas of the web (103) between the first fastener means (116) and (116) are removed. Also, the web (103) is folded so that the first side edge (101a) is overlapped and aligned with the second side edge (101b), and the portion of the web (103) near the second side edge (101b) is joined to the fastener sheets (123). Then, the web (103) is parted through the cutting lines (111) extending in the crossing direction (CD) to form the fragments of the web (103) having specified dimensions in the machine direction (MD). The pants type wearing articles (1) in which the areas thereof near the edges extending in the crossing direction (CD) are releasably connected to each other through the first and second fastener means (116) and (124) can be provided by the segments.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a disposable pant-type wearing article having a fastener mechanism. Background technique [0002] Among the underpants-type wearing articles such as disposable underpants-type diapers, wearing articles connected by detachable and reusable fastener mechanisms at both side edge portions of the front and rear waist regions are known. For example, in WO 01 / 87209 A1 (Patent Document 1), it is described that Figure 10 , 11 Disposable gym shorts 500 and methods of manufacture are shown. The shorts 500 have a first fastener mechanism 582 on the inner surface of both side edges of the front waist region 522, and on the other hand, have a first fastener mechanism 582 on the outer surface of the rear waist region 524. Match the second fastener mechanism 584 on one side. For the first fastener mechanism 582, for example, a hook-type fastener is used, and for the second fastener mechanism 584, for examp...
