Abstract

Disclosed is a network system for ground digital multimedia broadcasting (DMB). The DMB system includes a ground path and a satellite link path. The ground path includes a base station, modulating the first type signals received from the broadcasting center into the second type signals for ground DMVB, to transmit them to the receiver in the reception area. The satellite link path includes a satellite earth station, modulating the first type signals received into the third type signals with the bandwidth larger than that of the second type signals and transmitting them to the satellite; and a gap stuffer, receiving the third type signals to process the fourth type signals through executing the signals including the coding and crossed signals and converting the fourth type signals to the second type signals to transmit them to the receiver in the non-reception area. The third type signals include the fiducial time information and the gap stuffer uses the fiducial time information to transmit the second type signals with the base station simultaneously.
