Embodiment Construction

[0019] FIG. 1 shows a sectional view of a motor according to a first embodiment of the invention.

[0020] The electric machine 1 shown has a stator assembly which essentially consists of a stator pack 3 with a stator core 2 and two insulating disks 6 / 19 . Furthermore, the electric machine shown has a rotor assembly which essentially consists of a rotor shaft 5 and a rotor set 4 . The rotor shaft 5 is mounted in a first ball bearing 10 at the B-side end region of the electric machine and in a second ball bearing 11 at the A-side end region of the electric machine.

[0021] The first ball bearing 10 has an outer ring 10a and an inner ring 10b. The inner ring 10b is fixedly connected to the rotor shaft 5 . The second ball bearing 11 has an outer ring 11a and an inner ring 11b. The inner ring 11b is fixedly connected to the rotor shaft 5 .

[0022] An insulating disk 6 is positioned on the B-side end face of the motor. The insulating disc has an outer wall 6a and an inner ...

Abstract

An electrical machine with a ball race preloaded by elastic deformation of a bearing end plate as well as a method for manufacturing the same comprises a stator and a rotor with rotor shaft. The rotor shaft is supported via the ball race in the bearing end plates. At least one bearing end plate is embodied so that it can be elastically deformed in an axial direction and the preloading of the ball race is created by a preloading of the bearing end plate in the axial direction.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an electric machine with preloaded ball bearings and to a method for producing the electric machine. Background technique [0002] Electric machines with one stator and one rotor are known. The rotor has a rotor shaft mounted in a rotor bearing. In particular, such electric machines are used as drives in auxiliary devices in motor vehicles, where they can be used, for example, as motors for window lifters, or as drives for pumps. In practice, the problem arises in electric machines of this type that radial and axial play occurs between the stator and the rotor. During operation this leads to undesired noise and also to a reduced service life of the rotor bearings. [0003] DE 35 34 381 C2 already discloses a device for adjusting the axial play between the rotor and the stator of an electric machine. In this known arrangement, the operative stationary bearing for the rotor shaft is designed as a journal bearing. In order to...
