Abstract

In order to solve the problems of quality control that relation of position correspondence between an operation end and a measurement point is measured for each brand and the relation is changed, however, much labor is required and when relation of position correspondence is shifted during operation, step response is measured and remeasurement of relation of position correspondence is required. The operation amount of an operation end is inputted to a process model, the relation of position correspondence, interference width and process gain of the process model are corrected so that deviation between the process model and a measured profile is minimized and the relation of position correspondence is set in a width direction controller for outputting an operation amount. Consequently, since the relation of successive position correspondence is corrected to the optimum value during operation, controllability is not deteriorated even if the relation of position correspondence is shifted, labor for measuring the relation of position correspondence for each brand and changing the relation is eliminated.
