Embodiment Construction

[0038] FIG. 2 is a functional block diagram of a receiving area in a mobile device using the GSM system. The mobile device 100 includes an RF receiver 200 connected to an antenna 210 for receiving RF signals. The RF receiver 200 down-converts the received RF signal to an intermediate frequency (IF) signal according to the frequency given by the RF PLL 220 . In the GSM system, most RF signals are transmitted at frequencies of 800MHz, 1800MHz, and 1900MHz, while the IF is usually 200MHz. The IF demodulator and downconverter 202 demodulates the IF signal into a baseband analog signal, and the signal includes an in-phase (In-Phase; IP) component and a quadrature (Quadrature; IQ) component. An analog-to-digital converter (Analog-to-Digital Converter; ADC) 204 and a low-pass filter 206 convert the baseband analog signal into a low-pass filtered digital signal. A digital signal processor (Digital Signal Processor; DSP) 208 receives the signal and controls the speaker 222 to output ...

Abstract

The invention relates to a differential phase detection method, which is suitable for real-time detection of a burst sequence in a received signal, comprising the following steps: calculating the complex phase difference of every two continuous samples in the received signal; comparing each phase difference with an upper limit and a lower limit, detecting the burst and finding the end point of the burst; and estimating a burst frequency of the burst when the burst is detected. The invention detects the burst sequence in the received signal, and finds out the end point of the burst sequence, and the end point of the burst sequence can be regarded as a timing reference by the receiver, and can be realized in a simple, rapid and low-cost method. The frequency of the burst sequence is detected by means of the burst sequence, and the burst sequence is used to adjust the frequency of the local oscillator to maintain the synchronization between the receiving end and the transmitting end.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a wireless communication system, in particular to a method and system for maintaining synchronization by detecting burst sequences in the wireless communication system. Background technique [0002] The wireless communication system is mainly for establishing voice and data communication between the base station and the mobile device. Most wireless communication systems operate according to a set of standard specifications detailing transmission frequencies, bandwidths, protocols, and other communication specifications. One example of a communication standard specification is Global System for Mobile (GSM). figure 1 Describe the architecture of a basic GSM network. The mobile device (Mobile Station; MS) 100 is carried by the user and is used to connect to the GSM network and exchange data wirelessly. The base station subsystem 118 includes at least one base station (BaseStation; BTS) 102 and a base station controller...
