Abstract

The invention provides an edge computing service configuration method and device. The method comprises the following steps: distributing an edge computing application to a target edge node according to an edge computing application installation demand of a user; receiving an IP address returned by the target edge node after the edge computing application is installed; querying a first physical position of a physical machine room to which an IaaS resource pool associated with the target edge node belongs; querying a UPF closest to the first physical position from a network service arrangement system; receiving a first UPF which is returned by the network service arrangement system and is closest to the first physical position; and sending a binding relationship between the first UPF and the IP address to a network function virtualization cooperation, so that the network function virtualization cooperation configures an SMF according to the binding relationship to complete the configuration of the UPF. According to the invention, when the edge computing service needs to be opened, the deployment of the edge computing application and the configuration of the UPF shunting strategy can be automatically completed.
