Abstract

The invention discloses a semi-automatic threshold extraction method for an SAR image. According to the method, automatic search and threshold calculation of a boundary of two different surface features based on a greedy algorithm are realized under a small amount of manual intervention. The method comprises the following steps: firstly, determining two types of ground features to be subjected to threshold segmentation, drawing a line spanning the two types of selected ground features in an SAR image, automatically generating buffer areas on two sides of the line, and calculating average value of the buffer areas to form a average value line; then, respectively calculating gradients of adjacent pixels at two ends of the line, and according to the gradients, carrying out pixel merging from the two ends of the line to the middle of the line until meeting; and finally, calculating a threshold value according to the pixel pair and the gradient at the meeting position, and extracting a target ground object by using the threshold value to obtain a threshold value segmentation result. The method combines the advantages of automatic and manual threshold extraction, can be suitable for SAR images with different resolutions, and is high in speed and high in precision.
