Embodiment Construction

[0037] In order to make the object, technical solution and advantages of the present invention more clear, the present invention will be further described in detail below in conjunction with the examples. It should be understood that the specific embodiments described here are only used to explain the present invention, not to limit the present invention.

[0038] 1.1. Selection of subjects

[0039]In the present invention, subjects included 15 JME patients (11 males, 4 females, 10-40 years old, average age 18.6 years, and epilepsy lasted 4.03 years on average) and 15 patients (9 males, 6 females, Aged 10-37 years, average age 19.3 years) normal volunteers. Both groups of subjects were right-handed. There was no significant difference in age, handedness, and gender between the two groups (P>0.05). All patients were diagnosed as JME according to the diagnostic criteria issued by the International League Against Epilepsy in 2001. No structural abnormalities were found in conve...

Abstract

The invention relates to the fields of medical imaging, computer imaging and mathematics. According to the invention, a resting state functional magnetic resonance imaging technology is utilized and is combined with a Granger causality analysis model to perform effective connection research on teenager patients with myoclonus epilepsy; the results show that in the six Granger causal relationships of the teenager patient group with myoclonus epilepsy, the two Granger causal relationships of the right forehead middle to the left parahippocampal gyrus and the right forehead middle to the left anterior wedge lobe are both in negative activation; and results show that compared with the three brain regions, the right frontal median gyrus possibly has greater influence on teenager myoclonus epilepsy, namely, the right frontal median gyrus is possibly related to the core brain region.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the fields of medical images, computer imaging and mathematics, through image preprocessing and model construction, and the analysis of Granger causality between regions of interest, and finally obtains brain regions with significant Granger causality. Background technique [0002] Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy (JME) is a common type of epilepsy. Onset in adolescence, intellectual development is normal, myoclonic seizures often occur after awakening, mainly involving bilateral upper limbs, falls may occur when the lower limbs are affected, and occasionally generalized tonic-clonic seizures. EEG is characterized by bilateral multiple spikes and slow waves or complex spikes and slow waves. The prognosis of this type is good. The age of onset is mainly concentrated between 8 and 22 years old. The average age of onset is 15 years old. There is no gender difference in the onset of symptoms. Myoclonus soon appeared or the objects in t...
