Abstract

The method is applied to a terminal and comprises the following steps: acquiring information stored by a subscriber identity module (SIM) arranged in the terminal; determining a networking mode of an operator to which the SIM belongs based on the information stored in the SIM; setting a network searching mode of the terminal based on the networking mode; and executing a network searching operation based on the network searching mode.
