Abstract

The invention discloses a device for monitoring acetone in exhaled gas of a diabetic patient. The device is characterized by being composed of a skin-friendly layer, a breathing gas adsorption layer,an outermost layer and a breathing frequency monitor. Gas enters the breathing gas adsorption layer through the skin-friendly layer, and the gas adsorption layer adsorbs breathing gas; the breathing gas has a certain humidity, and a certain relation exists between the humidity and expiration frequency; and an acetone sensor on the outermost layer is used for testing the acetone degree of breathinggas and transmitting an acetone degree value to the breathing frequency monitor through a Bluetooth module. With the device of the invention adopted, the breathing gas can be collected, and the breathing frequency can be monitored at the same time, and working efficiency is improved; the breathing frequency monitor is a mobile phone provided with APP software and used for receiving acetone content data in respiratory gas.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to diabetes detection and belongs to the field of medical detection. Background technique [0002] Acetone is a ketone produced when the body is forced to use stored fat as its main source of energy. There is a strong link between diabetes and acetone because the presence of acetone is a sign that insulin is not properly transporting glucose into cells. High acetone levels can lead to a condition called ketoacidosis, which occurs when large amounts of acetone build up in the blood and are excreted in the urine. People who suspect ketoacidosis should see a doctor for tests to make sure their diabetes and acetone levels are under control, as the disease can lead to serious health problems. At present, the most common way to diagnose diabetes is blood glucose testing, but the blood collection process will cause some pain to patients, and this testing method is time-consuming. As a convenient and non-invasive means of disease detec...
