Abstract

The invention relates to a rectangular uniform laser pulse impact strengthening and forming system and an application method thereof. The system comprises a laser generation module, an external optical shaping module and a sample piece module, wherein the laser generation module is configured as a nanosecond laser for outputting nanosecond laser pulses; the external optical shaping module comprises a shaping curved mirror group or a shaping curved combined mirror, and is configured to shape the nanosecond laser pulses to form rectangular uniform nanosecond laser pulses; and the sample piece module comprises a plurality of sample pieces to be subjected to a laser pulse shot blasting technology and materials for forming the sample pieces. The application method is to apply the laser pulse shot blasting technology to the sample pieces and the materials for forming the sample pieces by adopting the system. The system and the method solve the problems generated by adopting circular laser spots in the prior art and the problems that the conventional domestic square pulse laser outputs low laser pulse energy and is not suitable for the laser pulse shot blasting technology.
