Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides an information processing method and device. The method comprises the steps that terminal equipment determines that a congestion control timer is in a first state; and the terminal equipment detects whether a first service exists in a first protocol data unit (PDU) session, wherein the first service is a service which is performing data transmission by using reflection quality of service (QoS); and if so, the terminal equipment sends a first PDU session modification request to the network equipment, wherein the first PDU session modification request comprises indication information, and the indication information is used for indicating that the first PDU session modification request is not limited by the congestion control timer. According to the method, when the terminal equipment determines that the congestion control timer is in the first state and determines that the first service exists in the first PDU session, the PDU session modificationrequest can be immediately sent to the network equipment, so that the problem of service processing failure caused by release of the PDU session is avoided, and the communication stability is effectively ensured.
