The method comprises the steps of determining a shelf type corresponding to a to-be-warehoused target material; in existing shelves meeting the shelf type, determining candidate shelves matched with the target material, and selecting an optimal shelf used for storing the target material from the candidate shelves by adopting a selection strategy corresponding to the shelf type; and sending the identifier of the optimal goods shelf to a mobile robot so as to trigger the mobile robot to carry the optimal shelf to a warehousing workstation, thereby warehousing the target material.
