Abstract

The invention provides a straddle-type vehicle which can easily unlock a seat from either the left side or the right side of a vehicle body. A straddle-type vehicle (1) is provided with: a storage box(40) that is covered with a cover by closing an open-close seat (23) on which an occupant sits; a cover member (24) that covers the front surface and the side surfaces of the storage box (40); a seatlatch mechanism (50) that holds the seat (23) in a closed state; a cable (42) for releasing the seat latch mechanism (50); an operation member (41) connected to the other end of the cable (42); and alow floor (25) on which the passenger rests, in the straddle-type vehicle (1), an operation member (41) is attached to an opening (70) provided in the cover member (24). The opening (70) is disposedfurther inward than the outer end (25a) of the low floor (25) in the vehicle width direction.
