According to the supporting method, through pilot tunnel construction, surrounding rock deformation energy is effectively released, and surrounding rock deformation is controlled advantageously; constant-resistance large-deformation anchor cables can achieve constant-resistance sliding under the action of high pretightening force, the deformation energy of surrounding rock is evenly released, and the structural stability of a supporting body is effectively protected; an active supporting mode is adopted, reverse constraining force can be applied to the surrounding rock in time, the bidirectional stress state of the excavated surrounding rock isrestored to the three-direction stress state, the broken surrounding rock can be improved into a combined arch with the uniform bearing force through the constant-resistance large-deformation anchorcables, the friction force between the surrounding rock is increased through the high pretightening force of the constant-resistance large-deformation anchor cables, and the anti-shearing capacity ofa bearing arch is improved; and the surrounding rock can be suspended on a deep stable rock stratum through the suspension theory, the reinforced combined arch is formed through joint supporting of the long anchor cables and the short anchor cables, and large deformation of the soft rock surrounding rock is resisted jointly.
