The invention provides a synchronization control method of a multimedia terminal and a terminal control system, the terminal control system comprises a first terminal, a first gateway, a plurality ofsecond gateways and a plurality of second terminals corresponding to the second gateways, and the synchronization control method comprises the following steps: obtaining message sending time when thefirst terminal sends a message to the second terminals; measuring the round-trip time of the message between the first terminal and the second terminal, and obtaining the maximum round-trip time; according to the message sending time and the maximum round-trip time, calculating the message arrival time when the message is sent to the plurality of second terminals, and obtaining the maximum messagearrival time; taking a difference value between the maximum message arrival time and the message arrival time of each second terminal as a synchronous delay value; and calculating the action execution time of the plurality of second terminals according to the synchronous delay value, and executing the control action of the message.
