The method is used for a terminal, and comprises: transmitting first indication information to a base station, wherein the first indication information is used to represent a type of report information that is provided by the terminal; and receiving second indication information sent by the base station, wherein the secondindication information is used to represent a type of the specified report information of the terminal that is configured by the base station according to the first indication information, and the specified report information type is one or more of the report information types provided by the terminal; and transmitting the MDT measurement information corresponding to the second indication information to the base station.
