The detection circuit comprises an inverter circuit, a first Y capacitor (C1) connectedbetween an output firing line and a ground line of the inverter circuit, a second Y capacitor (C2) connected between an output zero line and the ground line of the inverter circuit, and further includes a firing line sampling circuit and a zero line sampling circuit correspondingly connected with the output firing line and the output zero line of the inverter circuit, and a controller connected with the firing line sampling circuit and the zero line sampling circuit. The firing line sampling circuit and the zero line sampling circuit respectively output sampling voltage. The controller determines a two-way on-board charger insulation state according to the two sampling voltage. When an on-board charger works in an inverter mode, values of ground insulation impedance of the output firing line L and the output zero line N are detected, and whether insulation failure exists between AC output of a pure inverter mode and a vehicle body is determined, so as to eliminate electric shock hazardof personnel. The circuit has advantages of simple and practical structure, easy implementation and low cost.
