The screw-type vertical elevator comprises a well, a lift carand a driving mechanism. The driving mechanism comprises a motor, a transmission rod and a plurality of screws. The multiple screws are vertically arranged on the periphery of the lift car, and eachscrew is provided with a nut in a sleeved mode. The nuts are connected to the lift car through first connecting pieces, and each screw is provided with a second gear. An output shaft of the motor is provided with a worm, a worm wheel engaged with the worm is arranged at the upper end of the transmission rod, and a first gear engaged with all the second gears is arranged at the lower end of the transmission rod. The screw-type vertical elevator has the beneficial effects that the lift car lifting action is achieved in a spiral transmission mode of the screws and the nuts, the certain self-locking function is achieved, labor is saved, and the falling accident is prevented from being caused on the lift car; the driving mechanism has the self-locking function through design of the worm and theworm wheel, and controllability and safety of the screw-type vertical elevator are ensured; and through design of the second gears and the first gear, synchronous rotation of the four screws can be ensured, and thus ascending and descending of the lift car are more stable.
