Provided are a pulse wave detection device and biological information measurement device which make it possible to flexibly change the state of pressing against a body surface by a sensor unit used bybeing pressed against the body surface, and to improve the accuracy of pulse wave detection. A biological information measurement device is provided with: a sensor unit 6 having element rows 60, 70,which are composed of a plurality of pressure detection elements lined up in a direction B, and which are arrayed in a direction A; an air bag 2 for pressing the sensor unit 6 against a body surface of a body in a state where the direction B intersects with a direction in which arteries under the body surface extend; a rotation mechanism 5 for causing the sensor unit 6 to rotate about a first axisX extending in the direction B; and a rotational drive unit 10 for driving the rotation mechanism 5. The rotation mechanism 5, the air bag 2, and the sensor unit 6 are arrayed in the stated order inthe direction of pressing by the air bag 2.
