Abstract

The invention relates to a high- and low-voltage ride through testing device and testing method for photovoltaic power stations and wind power generating sets and aims to solve the problem of dependence on neutral-point solid ground of a medium-voltage side of a main boosting transformer in implementation of short circuit to ground ride through testing in application of existing voltage ride through testing devices. The testing device comprises an incoming switch K1, a current-limiting reactor L1, a short-circuit reactor L2, a boost capacitor C, a damping resistor R, short circuit switches K2and K3, single-phase option switches K4-K6, an earthing switch K7 and a Z type transformer T1. The current-limiting reactor L1 and the short-circuit reactor L2 form impedance component voltage, and apower grid low voltage dropout process is simulated through different tap position combinations. The current-limiting reactor L1 and the boost capacitor C form capacitance boosting voltage, and a power grid voltage swell process is simulated through different tap position reactance and capacitance combinations. The damping resistor R is used for inhibiting impact and oscillation in input of the capacitor C. The Z type transformer T1 is used for providing an earthing circuit to realize simulation of power grid short circuit to ground.
