The invention relates to a device for picking up and putting away a book at a high place. By means of the device for picking up and putting away the book at the high place, the dual purposes of picking up and putting away the book can be achieved simply through one handle and one supporting rod, and the device is small in size, convenient to operate, high in practicability and particularlyapplicable to libraries.
