The method includes the following steps: receiving appointment visit information including visitor information, visited person information and visit time, input by a visitor through a visitor appointing platform; collecting the face image of the visitor, and savingthe face image in the visitor information; querying an access control database including a correspondence list of the visited person information and access control communication port numbers accordingto the visited person information in order to obtain a corresponding access control communication port number; and sending the appointment visit information to an access control service system corresponding to the access control communication port number through a cloud server in order to make the access control service system control a gate unlock by face recognition when the visitor visits.
