The method comprises the steps that after a fingerprint recognition sensor acquires a first fingerprint image, the pre-stored number of historical dead pixels is acquired; when the number of historical dead pixels is greater than or equal to the first preset number threshold, matching recognition of the first fingerprint image is prohibited; the number of the damaged acquisition modules of the fingerprint recognition sensor is detectedso as to obtain the current number of dead pixels; and the number of historical dead pixels is updated by using the current number of dead pixels, and the updated number of historical dead pixels is used for judging matching recognition of the acquired fingerprint image after the next time of acquisition of the fingerprint image.
