Abstract

The invention discloses a design system for a reinforced concrete beam based on a building information model (BIM). The system comprises an extraction module, a structure analysis module, a calculation module and an optimization module, wherein the extraction module is used for extracting BIM information needed for rebar design from the BIM, and the BIM information comprises load information, terminal support information and geometric information of the reinforced concrete beam; the structure analysis module is used for calculating a bending moment and shear force exerted on the reinforced concrete beam according to the BIM information; the calculation module is used for converting the geometric information, the bending moment and the shear force into rebar design requirements needed for reinforced concrete beam design according to design specification requirements; and the optimization module is used for optimizing the rebar design requirements by use of a hybrid genetic algorithm according to the design specification requirements. Rebar selection and arrangement provided through the system meet both the design specification requirements and the rapidity, economy and full-automation requirements in the realization process.
