Abstract

A head-mounted display apparatus comprises an input element, a control module, a display screen, a housing for housing the display screen and a wearable sensor provided on the housing. The wearable sensor is used for detecting whether the head-mounted display apparatus is being worn. When the wearable sensor detects that the head-mounted display apparatus is not being worn, the control module doesnot respond to an input action applied on the input element. By not responding to the input action, the case where the head-mounted display apparatus is mistakenly touched when being taken off can beavoided. The invention further provides a control method of the head-mounted display apparatus.
