Abstract

The invention discloses a method and system of extracting information of unexpected events based on literary forms and word lists. First, analyzing the characteristics of Web texts and news styles; extending a list of words built by experts with Google word 2 Vec; developing different extraction methods for different attributes of unexpected events: using the word lists for event classification; using stylistic features to extract time and event abstracts; using literary style and word lists to extract locations, casualties and economic loss attributes. Experiments show that the average accuracy rate is 87.89% and 91.29%, respectively, and the average recall rate is 81.76% and 87.91% respectively when using the method based on literary style and word lists to extract the attributes of unexpected events in crawled Web news corpora and open corpora, which can meet emergency management needs.
