The conversion device comprises multiple interfaces used for receiving and sending data and furthercomprises a protocol identification module used for receiving protocol data through the interfaces and identifying the protocol data to acquire protocol types, a sending module used for sending the protocol data to target equipment on the condition that the protocol types are protocol types utilized by the target equipment of the protocol data, a protocol analysis reconstruction module used for converting the protocol data into protocol data corresponding to protocols utilized by the target equipment according to preset rules when the protocol types are not the protocol types utilized by the target equipment of the protocol data and sending the protocol data after conversion to the target equipment through the interfaces. The conversion device is advantaged in that conversion cost can be reduced.
