By determining the total number of the battery packs for charging and discharging switching in the energy storage power station, calculating the minimum variance of states of charges of the battery packs under each condition, comparing the minimum variance with state of charge variance limit values of the battery packs in the energy storage power station and selecting an eligible minimum number of times of switching of charging and discharging of the battery packs, the number of times of switching of charging and discharging of all the battery packs when the energy storage power station cooperates with new energy to perform fluctuation suppression, peak shaving and contribution to a tracking plan can be effectively reduced, and the service lives of the battery packs can be prolonged, so that the operation cost is reduced, and the economical property is improved; meanwhile, the SOC (state of charge) variation can be controlled within a certain range, thus avoiding weakening of the contribution capacity of the energy storage power station.
