The domain ontology retrieving method and the domain ontology retrieving device have the advantages that by establishing the domain ontology through the general formal ontology and retrieving on the basis of the domain ontology retrieving, more efficient and more accurate knowledge retrieval for a designed domain can be provided, and a recall ratio and a precision ratio of retrieval are increased.
