Abstract

The invention relates to a piezoelectric-type three-dimensional touch input module and a driving method thereof. The touch input module comprises a piezoelectric sensor, a projective-capacitance sensor, a control chip of the projective-capacitance sensor, an AD conversion module and a micro-controller. The micro-controller comprises a computation module and a judgment module. The projective-capacitance sensor is connected with the control chip of the projective-capacitance sensor. By sending operated two-dimensional coordinates (X, Y) to the micro-controller, the piezoelectric sensor is connected with the AD conversion module so that a pressure signal in (Z) direction is converted to a digital signal and sent to the micro-controller. The micro-controller is used for judging an operation position through computation based on received (X, Y, Z) data, for judging pressure according to size of Z in order to avoid mis-operation and also used for transmitting a computation result to a system end. The piezoelectric-type three-dimensional touch input module and the driving method thereof have the following beneficial effects: the piezoelectric-type three-dimensional touch input module is simple and compact in structure; while detection precision is ensured, three-dimensional multi-point operation is realized; and the piezoelectric-type three-dimensional touch input module is safe and reliable and has good experience in man-machine interactions.
