The four-cylinder self-pressurization engine is characterized in that the second cylinder and the fourth cylinder are connected with the first communicating channel; the first communicating channel is connected with the second communicating channel through the third air door in a disconnectable mode; the second communicating channel is connected with the first cylinder and the third cylinder; and the second cylinder and the fourth cylinder can be transformed into superchargers after being shut down so as to provide supercharged air for the first cylinder and the third cylinder. The four-cylinder self-pressurization engine has the beneficial effects that firstly, an existing cylinder deactivation technology is improved, and the surcharging effect is achieved by transforming two of the cylinders into the superchargers after the two cylinders are shut down for supercharging the other two cylinders; and secondly, the two superchargers are used for surcharging the other two cylinders together, and a certain supercharging effect can be achieved.
