Abstract

The method comprises steps: when the terminal fails to be attached to the public land mobile network (PLMN) of a local operator during a roaming process, the reason value for network attachment failure is acquired; when the reason value for network attachment failure is equal to a first preset threshold, the PLMN value of the local operator is acquired; whether the PLMN value is included in a signing operator list is judged; when the PLMN value is included in the signing operator list, a first tracking identifier TAI is prohibited to start to search a second TAI, wherein the first TAI is the current TAI, and the second TAI is any other TAI except the first TAI; and network connection is carried out according to the second TAI. Through the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the invention, normal registration to a local network in the case of roaming to other countries can be ensured, the user can enjoy the service provided by the local operator, and convenience is further brought to the user.
