The method comprises the steps of obtaining user feature values of a to-be-identified user and normal ranges of the user feature values; determining abnormal features in user features of the to-be-identified user according to the user feature values and the normal ranges of the feature values, wherein the abnormal features refer to user features, with the user feature values exceeding the normal ranges of the feature values, of the to-be-identified user; according to the feature values of the abnormal features and feature weight values of the abnormal features, calculating a user score of the to-be-identified user; and generating an identification result used for indicating whether the to-be-identified user is an abnormal user or not according to the user score. By adopting the method and the apparatus provided by the invention, the user score of the to-be-identified user can be comprehensively calculated by utilizing the feature values of the abnormal features, so that the problem of low identification accuracy of the abnormal user caused by inaccurate selection of the abnormal features can be reduced.
