Abstract

The invention discloses a method and system in support of multichannel broadcast of camera video data and a Homed system. The Homed system with a strong channel live broadcast function is introduced. Monitoring channels are established by taking video data of cameras as input sources according to monitoring channel establishment requests and camera address information; corresponding monitoring channel identifiers and broadcast addresses are set for the monitoring channels; the monitoring channel identifiers are sent to a video conference background; the video conference background can forward the monitoring channel identifiers to terminals; when video broadcast requests which are sent by the terminals through first preset interfaces and carry the monitoring channel identifiers are received, the broadcast addresses of the monitoring channels are sent to the terminals, so the terminals obtain video resources. The Homed system has the capability bearing ten-million user level access, so the number of the terminals participating in a video conference is no longer limited by the number of broadcast channels of the cameras.
